Kinesiology for Adults - Digestive Issues

Kinesiology is a safe and complete form of natural health care.  It uses gentle muscle testing to identify, understand and rectify any imbalance within the body.

Your treatment at the Dragonfly Healing Room looks at all the elements that may be affecting your health.  Kinesiology is a holistic therapy which uses muscle response to a muscle test.  I do this by placing your arms, legs or head into specific positions then apply a light pressure against the muscle that is being tested.  The muscle response measures the motor response of the central nervous system to a sensory challenge.

Digestive Issues

'Digestive issues' seems to cover a whole lot of struggles and problems without the pinpointing of what it is that is causing you a digestive challenge.  It may even have become something you are used to for example; acid reflux, bloating, frequent infections, heartburn, irritable bowel syndrome, weight gain, weight loss

With Kinesiology and through the use of muscle response testing I am able to identify where in the body your digestive system is struggling the most.  By pinpointing the challenges your digestive system is facing we can then work together to rectify those challenges and bring your body back into balance.

Digestive issues impact not only on how you physically feel but will effect your emotions too.  An in-balance in your digestive system can cause you upset which goes beyond the symptoms you are experiencing.

What do treatments involve?

I will place your limbs into specific positions and then apply a light pressure against the muscle that is being tested, from the muscle response we will be able to identify where your body is struggling the most.  One of these muscle tests will include identifying the Ileocecal Valve.  The Ileocecal Valve (ICV) is found in the digestive tract between the small intestines and the large intestines. It is positioned in the lower right side of the abdomen near the appendix.  The main function of the ICV is to periodically open and close in order to let food move through the digestive tract. If the ICV malfunctions it can have a major effect on health and wellbeing.

A malfunctioning Ileocecal Valve is an extremely common condition.  It can produce an unbelievable list of distressing symptoms that may be seemingly unrelated. Therefore, it is frequently the cause of the “I just don’t feel well” syndromes, as well as many types of aches and pains together with other specific symptomatic patterns.

The proper movement of food through the digestive system is controlled by several valves. One at the top and one at the bottom of the stomach, one at the junction of the large and small intestine and the anus.  If the Ileocecal Valve stays open too long, or not long enough, problems occur.  A small example of these are; abdominal pain, groin pain, constipation, diarrhoea or IBS, allergies, and arthritic type of aches and pains. As well as, bloating, bowel gas, burping habitually, candida, carpal tunnel syndrome, catarrh, chest pains, chronic fatigue, frozen shoulder and much more.

As I assess your muscles and the feedback that they provide, I will create an individual treatment plan for you which may have the following suggestions:

  • Safe, gentle, natural food supplements

  • Dietary changes including advice on food and chemical sensitivities

  • Gentle relaxation techniques

“I had been recommended Sue during a period of ill health which included fatigue and stomach pain. The initial session confirmed how and why my body had been struggling and I was recommended remedies that specifically targeted parts of the body which needed to be healed. I’m so grateful to have met Sue, she has helped me get back my health and confidence back. I’ve recommended her to family and friends.”
