Kinesiology for Adults -

Skin Challenges

Kinesiology is a safe and complete form of natural health care.  It uses gentle muscle testing to identify, understand and rectify any imbalance within the body.

Your treatment at the Dragonfly Healing Room looks at all the elements that may be affecting your health.  Kinesiology is a holistic therapy which uses muscle response to a muscle test.  I do this by placing your arms, legs or head into specific positions then apply a light pressure against the muscle that is being tested.  The muscle response measures the motor response of the central nervous system to a sensory challenge.

Skin Challenges

Skin issues can include:

  • eczema

  • rashes

  • psoriasis

  • acne

  • dermatitis

  • bumps

  • bruises

  • scars

  • and others.

Skin conditions can range from simple to complex and can include:

  • Hormone imbalance

  • FoodSensitivities

  • Immune issues

  • Bacteria

  • Stress

  • Intestinal imbalance

  • Kidney

  • Emotional issues such as anger

  • Digestion problems and more...

The list goes on and sufferers often go round in circles with incredibly uncomfortable and or unsightly skin conditions.

From a more holistic viewpoint, our skin is the boundary point where our physical body meets the outside world. There are often times a correlation between how people feel about themselves and their environment. If this is out of balance somehow, it can show up through the skin.

Through Kinesiology and muscle response testing we communicate with the body to find out what is needed. There may be one, or multiple layers that the body needs to ‘fix’ before the skin totally recovers. This usually depends on how long the problem has been around.

What do treatments involve?

As I assess your muscles and the feedback that they provide, I will create an individual treatment plan for you which may have the following suggestions:

  • Safe, gentle, natural liquid food supplements

  • Dietary changes including advice on food and chemical sensitivities

  • Gentle relaxation techniques
