Soft Fizzy Drinks

It's hot....we're thirsty and we reach for a drink and sometimes that is a fizzy drink.

A normal blood pH level is 7.40 on a scale of 0 to 14, where 0 is the most acidic and 14 is the most basic. This value can vary slightly in either direction.

The pH of colas has been calculated at 2.8 to 3.2.

The body could dilute the acid but would require an additional 33 litres of urine to dilute a 330ml can of cola.
