Kinesiology for Adults - Headaches

Kinesiology is a safe and complete form of natural health care.  It uses gentle muscle testing to identify, understand and rectify any imbalance within the body.

A treatment at the Dragonfly Healing Room looks at all elements that may be affecting your health - emotions, chemical challenges (incl.food sensitivity), structural or energetic stresses.  Kinesiology is a holistic therapy which uses muscle response to a muscle test.  We do this by placing your arms, legs or head into specific positions then apply a light pressure against the muscle that is being tested.  The muscle response measures the motor response of the central nervous system to a sensory challenge.

Headaches

Headaches, the term used for an ache that can be located in any place in our head.  Does that sound simplistic?  The challenge with headaches is that we often do not know where they have originated from, in which area of the head that they started, rather that we are in pain and we would like that pain to stop soon. 

​

Headaches can be debilitating and cause a challenge to our every day tasks, thoughts and feelings.

What do treatments involve?

As we assess the muscles and the feedback that they provide, we will create an individual treatment plan to help you with headaches which may have the following suggestions:
